About the position

Please Assist Me is an apartment task service in Washington DC, that empowers working professionals by helping them accomplish their weekly chores with their own personal team. We are looking for team members that are detail-oriented, eager to grow and learn, and love what they do!

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of chores to help maintain private residences in a caring, professional, and detailed way.
• Duties include dusting, hand washing dishes, cleaning kitchen countertops, cooking utensils, and silverware.
• Thoroughly cleanse all counters throughout the home, fluff pillows, and fold blankets in the living room.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in designated areas of the home.
• Empty wastebaskets and recycling.
• Run miscellaneous errands like taking mail to the post office, picking up dry cleaning, shopping for groceries, and other deliveries.

Requirements

• Be able to work the schedule - Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10 AM - 5 PM.
• Ability to work in all areas of DC (NW, NE, SE, SW).
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Ability to work well alone and with a teammate.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to completing the job at the highest level.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills.
• Pays extreme attention to detail when cleaning and enjoys cleaning.
• Organized and able to follow a schedule.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine; able to stand for long lengths of time; able to push a vacuum cleaner for extended periods; able to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds.
