About the position

The Lobby Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the lobby area within our establishment. This position is essential for ensuring that guests experience a pristine environment that reflects our commitment to hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby area, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Monitor and restock supplies in the lobby area, including brochures, magazines, and refreshments.
• Ensure that all areas are free of debris and hazards to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure consistency in cleanliness standards throughout the facility.

Requirements

• Strong custodial skills with experience in hotel or industrial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment usage.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest service.
• Previous experience in housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
