About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Benefit Coordinator to join our team at Carolina Meadows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits and systems, with a focus on customer service. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $23 per hour and is based in Chapel Hill, NC. As a Benefits Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining employee benefit programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with various laws and regulations. You will utilize our HRIS system, specifically Dayforce, along with benefit carrier portals to facilitate employee benefit enrollments throughout the year, including during the open enrollment period. Additionally, you will manage leave programs in coordination with a third-party leave administrator and assist with workers' compensation administration. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in providing excellent customer service to our employees regarding their benefits. Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain employee benefit programs
  • Conduct regulatory reporting to ensure compliance

  • Support HR team with various administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Employee Benefit functions such as FMLA, workers' compensation, and regulatory reporting
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration
