About the position

Delaware North is hiring an HR Business Partner to join our human resources team in support of our Travel Hospitality Services subsidiary. As an HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with HR functional centers of expertise to develop and deliver integrated and inclusive HR services and programs to THS. In addition, you will collaborate across business subsidiaries to assure best practices in HR are identified and shared employing effective change management strategies. This role requires a proactive approach to managing human capital and ensuring that the organization is equipped with the right talent to meet its strategic goals. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of engagement and inclusion, ensuring that all team members feel valued and supported in their roles. Due to the required travel for this role, we are open to a remote candidate located in proximity to our eastern or central airports.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee organization design, human capital planning, talent management, change management, associate effectiveness, and engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as a coach, counsel, and adviser to people managers and business leaders.
  • Champion team member engagement through effective communication, culture, team member value proposition, and diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Develop and deploy HR and human capital strategies, policies, programs, and services that scale and enable current business needs and prepare the business for the future.
  • Lead a team of regional HR Managers in support of day to day business operations.
  • Determine course of action for team member relations issues at all levels in alignment with organizational values, policies, guidelines, and governance standards.
  • Assure governance is in place for implementation of and compliance with regulatory, legislative, enterprise, business requirements, and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years of HR management experience with strong generalist and labor relations experience in a multi-location environment with a large employee population.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role driving strategic talent priorities.
  • Ability to work across multiple functions in a matrix environment.
  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal, relationship management, communication, influence, and coaching skills.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS and strong MS Office skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as required to support the business.
