About the position

The HR Compliance Analyst at Panda Restaurant Group is responsible for ensuring the implementation and documentation of HR compliance policies and procedures. This role involves coordinating the compliance monitoring program, preparing compliance reports, and gathering necessary documentation for audits. The analyst collaborates with various departments to provide training and develop compliance materials for associates, ensuring adherence to government regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of compliance work, from basic to more complex, with minimal supervision.
• Educate managers and associates on the importance of timely and accurate completion of compliance tasks.
• Provide internal and external customer service related to compliance topics.
• Lead internal and external audit procedures and follow up on outstanding compliance tasks.
• Troubleshoot problems and assist less experienced staff with common questions.
• Collaborate with other functions/vendors to address functional/technical issues or elevate processes.
• Develop compliance training materials and provide training to Operations and Support Center associates.
• Monitor and research legal compliance updates and propose implementation plans to HR management.
• Identify patterns of compliance issues and keep management informed of ongoing issues.
• Assist the Manager with developing risk management strategies to avoid non-compliance.
• Lead and collaborate on projects related to compliance training and process improvement.
• Coordinate the compliance monitoring program and oversee preparation of compliance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Business or HR major preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in HR with at least one year in Compensation, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment.
• Successful completion of annual store training.
