About the position

The HR Coordinator - Benefits & HRIS at One Hope United plays a crucial role in providing administrative support and overseeing various functional areas within the HR department, including Benefits, HRIS, and Compensation. This hybrid position requires the coordinator to be in the office three days a week, ensuring accurate maintenance of HR files and effective communication with employees and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, benefits, personnel and leave of absence information and reports, and documentation following legal, licensing, and quality standards.
  • Data entry and maintenance in Paycor to ensure that information is precise and reports are accurate.
  • Assists HR Coordinator peers with management of HR email boxes, HR department voicemail, and maintenance of employment and benefits files.
  • Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, Paycor, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR team members or management.
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to collect and file all required documents appropriately.
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external vendors, including USI Insurance, DCFS, and Paycor.
  • Processes all Benefits invoices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • AA/AS degree or equivalent; BA/BS preferred
  • 3 years related experience strongly preferred
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with OHU-required levels of coverage for auto insurance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Paycor (HRIS)
