As a Lead Programmer on the Global HRIS team at ZF, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the PeopleSoft HCM application. This position is pivotal in ensuring that the HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation systems are effectively supported through programming and development activities. You will collaborate closely with the IT HR Business Analyst to implement new features and updates, ensuring that the application meets the evolving needs of the organization. Your work will not only impact the US but also extend to Canada and Mexico, making your contributions vital to the success of our global operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, modifying, and creating various SQR programs that support the PeopleSoft application and its integrations with vendors. You will utilize PeopleTools technology to create projects that modify table structures, add new fields, and implement PeopleCode as required. Your familiarity with file transmission protocols will be essential as you configure and change file transmissions using the Autosys Workload automation batch processing application. Additionally, you will be involved in corporate initiatives and projects, including mergers and acquisitions, which will require your expertise and input. To succeed in this position, you will need a strong educational background, with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology being a requirement. You should have at least five years of relevant experience in PeopleSoft Development and programming, particularly as an SQR programmer and PeopleTools Developer. Your experience with PeopleSoft HCM, NA Payroll, and Global Payroll on application versions 9.2, along with PeopleTools versions 8.58 or above, is crucial. Knowledge of PeopleSoft upgrades, Linux, and Oracle will be advantageous. You will also need to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, as you will work closely with diverse global and cross-functional teams. Your ability to manage projects, solve problems, and maintain a proactive and organized approach will be key to your success in this dynamic environment.
