The Human Resource Manager will report to the Sr. Human Resource Manager and will be responsible for a wide range of functions including: Talent Management, Compensation, Employee Relations, HR Policies & Procedures, HR legal compliance and Company Culture. Primary Responsibilities: * Responsible to provide day-to-day professional HR support and policy administration relating to all phases of the employee life cycle (e.g. hiring, training, employee relations) plus HR business support such as organization design, talent planning and talent management. * Uses best practices and knowledge of internal business processes to manage and improve HR services. * Creates, coordinates, and conducts management/employee training. * Reviews existing human resources policies and procedures within the business for which they are responsible, and initiates changes as necessary to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, corporate policies, and business objectives. * Implements and annually updates job descriptions as necessary, conducts annual salary surveys for non-exempt roles and assesses non-exempt pay policies in relation to industry and region. * Analyzes compensation, monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary. * Provides technical expertise and management reporting and may be responsible for Legal compliance (e.g. leaves of absence, OSHA). * Participate in administrative staff meetings. * Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results, hearing and resolving employee concerns; counseling employees and supervisors. * Manages and communicates workforce metrics for use in measuring performance and supporting continuous improvement. * Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of department and services provided. * Ability to proactively address the future needs of the organization. * Other tasks and duties as assigned. Master's preferred. * 7+ years of experience in human resources, manufacturing preferred. * Proven leadership, project management and time management skills. * Experience in all facets of human resources including knowledge of recruitment processes, benefit and compensation administration, employee relations, and legal compliance requirements. * Strong written/verbal communication skills; good listening skills; a team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the Company and who is sensitive to cultural differences. * Approachable, inspires trust and confidence. Ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential business and employee information. * Must be adept at analyzing facts and issues, identifying options, and able to decide and recommend a course of action. Must know when to compromise and when to be assertive. * Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to thrive within a matrix organizational structure. * Solid business acumen, management reporting and problem solving skills. * Willingness to travel up to 20%. Compensation Information: $90,000-$110,000
