About the position

The Human Resources Coordinator at International Dehydrated Foods, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources function by managing and administering HRIS systems, processing shared service transactions, and providing operational support for benefits and leaves of absence. This position is essential for ensuring smooth HR operations across various locations in North America. The coordinator will be responsible for inputting data into systems such as Workday and Kronos, assisting with absence tracking, and managing the performance and development review system. In addition to system support, the HR Coordinator will take on generalist responsibilities, including managing the company's internal HR website, overseeing E-Verify and Workday integration, and ensuring compliance with legal postings. The role also involves processing payroll reimbursements and administering the Missouri Works Customized Training program. The coordinator will assist in generating reports for safety reporting and other HR metrics, ensuring that the HR department operates efficiently and effectively. The position also includes recruitment support, where the HR Coordinator will schedule interviews, arrange travel for candidates, and monitor the background screening process. Providing administrative support to HR business partners and performing other assigned duties will also be part of the role. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail, ensuring that all HR functions are carried out smoothly and in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Input shared service transactions into HRIS systems such as Workday and Kronos.
  • Review and approve timesheets for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist end users and HR managers/plant admins with system-related inquiries.
  • Track absences and code time off appropriately.
  • Administer and send changes for the performance and development review system.
  • Manage the company's internal Human Resources website.
  • Oversee E-Verify/Workday integration and ensure timely verifications are submitted.
  • Maintain bulletin boards and coordinate legal postings at the Springfield location.
  • Process payroll reimbursements including fitness center and safety shoes.
  • Administer the Missouri Works Customized Training program for IDF - Monett.
  • Run reports for safety reporting and other HR metrics.
  • Schedule interviews and arrange travel for candidates as needed.
  • Schedule pre-employment drug screenings and monitor the background screening process through HireRight.
  • Provide administrative support to HR business partners and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Knowledge of Workday and Kronos is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other required tools/systems.
