About The Position

The Human Resources Developer Special Education Teacher position is responsible for planning, developing, conducting, and evaluating training programs related to the qualified interpreter program. This role involves external communications with qualified interpreters and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and maintaining informative web pages. The position requires research and evaluation of regulations and laws to provide recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
• One year of professional experience in planning, developing, conducting, or evaluating staff development or training programs equivalent to a Human Resources Developer.
• Two years of professional experience in relevant fields, including one year equivalent to a Human Resources Developer 10.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in public health or human resources.
• Familiarity with the Deaf Person's Interpreter Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, conduct, and evaluate internal and external trainings related to the qualified interpreter program.
• Manage external communications with qualified interpreters and stakeholders.
• Ensure the qualified interpreter web pages are current and informative.
• Research and evaluate regulations, laws, and administrative rules.
• Provide suggested revisions to the section manager and division director regarding compliance with laws and regulations.
