About the position

The HR Business Partner position at GenScript/ProBio is designed to collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. This role involves providing HR insights for strategic decision-making, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. The position is based onsite in Piscataway, NJ, and requires a strong background in human resources, particularly in a business partner capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workforce planning to assess current and future talent needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, team dynamics, and employee engagement.
  • Coach managers on effective performance feedback and improvement strategies.
  • Implement change management strategies to support organizational growth in a matrix organization.
  • Utilize HR analytics to identify trends and inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Conduct investigations and recommend resolutions to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Build collaborative relationships with global teams and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute global HR policies that comply with local practices and requirements.
  • Demonstrate leadership by driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks related to HR data management and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 to 9 years of human resource experience with a proven record of problem-solving.
  • Previous HR business partner experience is highly recommended.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Experience supporting non-exempt employees or in a manufacturing/lab production environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desired.
