About The Position

Greenberry Industrial is looking for a Human Resources Specialist. We have a super warm caring team - who put employees first. Requirements

  • Must have at least two years of experience working with employee onboarding.
  • Must have at least two years working in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to actively listen and be empathetic.
  • Must be an excellent and accurate typist.
  • Must be able to enter data on the keyboard over long periods of time.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be a collaborative team player with great initiative.
  • Must be comfortable with and quickly learn new systems and applications to support business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for someone with drug screening administration experience.
  • Preference for someone who has worked with Viewpoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Extensive communication with employees when they have questions on Onboarding or other personnel related matters. Must offer both professionalism and appropriate empathy.
  • Work closely with employees from across the country and must be comfortable handling repeated phone calls and interruptions while maintaining a professional upbeat demeanor.
  • Handle stress well and be genuinely friendly.
  • Intensive daily data entry, entering new hire/rehire/termination information in Viewpoint daily.
  • Ensure new hire and term paperwork is accurate when entered into the system.
  • Work with payroll and human resources colleagues to investigate missing information.
  • Intensive daily filing and keep up with accurate electronic filing.
  • Ensure leaders have the appropriate new hire forms to fill out and conduct federal E-Verify checks for new hires.
  • Process background checks for prospective new hires.
  • Initiate pre-employment drug screens and work closely with clinics.
  • Initiate and schedule all drug screens and communicate with clinics and leaders to ensure timely and compliant execution.
  • Run a series of verifications and reports, including E-Verify for new employees.
  • Work closely with Payroll to send Employee Action Notifications daily and in a timely manner.
  • Support Region HR Champions on Employee Portal Onboarding.
  • Ensure safety is a priority and work safely while ensuring those around you also work safely.
