HVAC Service Technician

About the position

The HVAC Service Technician at Logan A/C & Heat Services is responsible for ensuring customer comfort through the examination, diagnosis, and repair of HVAC systems. This role involves providing expert recommendations for new HVAC systems and indoor air quality products, while maintaining a high level of customer service and communication. The technician will also participate in continuous training to stay updated on the latest technologies and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems to diagnose and address any issues.
• Perform repairs on various HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Provide customers with recommendations for new HVAC systems and indoor air quality enhancements.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers to explain repair processes and provide solutions.
• Manage and document service calls and repairs using provided technology (iPad, company phone).
• Participate in continuous training to stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and repair techniques.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and uniforms in good working order.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in HVAC or relevant field preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
