About The Position

5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. This role involves coordinating Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control System requirements, focusing on the Army Integrated Air Missile Defense (AIAMD) system portfolio, including the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) and Patriot systems. The position requires strong management skills to support hardware product office leadership in various business, financial, contract, logistics, and technical management activities.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • US Secret Security Clearance
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or significant applicable experience
  • 10+ years of applicable experience in business, financial, contract, logistics, and technical management activities
  • Strong understanding of Army Integrated Air Missile Defense (AIAMD) systems
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Ability to research data, analyze information, synthesize options, and make sound recommendations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control systems such as IBCS, Patriot, FAAD C2, and ADAM
  • Experience with integration of Army Air and Missile Defense Sensor or Weapon Platform systems such as Patriot, Sentinel, LTAMDS, and IFPC.

Responsibilities

  • Support Hardware Product Office leadership on business, financial, contract, logistics, and technical management activities associated with GFE procurement and delivery for IBCS system production.
  • Coordinate with PMO contracts, budget, acquisition, and systems engineering teams for development of independent cost estimates.
  • Develop contracts requirement packages and acquisition strategies.
  • Provide technical solutions and paths ahead for project management.
  • Coordinate with industry OEM counterparts' contracts, program management, engineering, and logistics teams to track and manage GFE components' status.
  • Represent Hardware Product Office leadership in the absence of the government leader.
  • Support the development of strategic internal/external communications, including weekly Situation Reports and updates to Command and Staff charts.
  • Manage internal/external coordination and strategic communications with FMS and Domestic partners and internal PMO functional leads/teams.
  • Coordinate IPTs, meetings, and working groups, developing briefings, agendas, minutes, and action items.
  • Handle domestic and foreign disclosure staffing requests for IFMC Hardware Product Office related products.
  • Develop and maintain historical archives for reference and institutional knowledge.
  • Assess long-range factors affecting programmatic or technical progress of the project.
  • Provide periodic reviews to determine project status and major milestones, ensuring coordination of actions and risk management.
