About The Position

As a Part-Time Key Holder at Claire's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail targets. This position involves driving sales, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the store operates safely and legally in the absence of other management. You will also be responsible for maintaining a fun and inviting shopping experience for customers while assisting with various store operations.

Requirements

• Some high school education required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and basic computer skills.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
• Open and close the store in the absence of other management, ensuring safe and legal operations.
• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Demonstrate Claire's products and assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
• Assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
• Perform ear piercing after receiving full training.
• Ensure the store is presentable and inviting to customers.
