IGTD Senior Accountant

About the position

As an IGTD Senior Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager in managing the Trial Balance across various ERP systems. Your responsibilities will include handling journal entries, transactions, postings, and month-end activities. Specific accounts of focus may vary, but will include intercompany accounting, cash management, foreign currency forecasting, tax support, and fixed assets management. You will oversee intercompany activity, manage bank accounts, forecast hedging needs, support tax-related activities, and partner with the Accounting Specialist and FA COE team to ensure accurate fixed asset accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Manager to manage the Trial Balance across various ERP systems.
• Oversee intercompany accounting activity and ensure alignment with counter teams.
• Manage bank accounts, including cash application and bank reconciliation.
• Forecast hedging needs for foreign currency.
• Support tax-related activities, such as R&D Tax Credit and indirect tax requests.
• Partner with Accounting Specialist and FA COE team to ensure accurate fixed asset subledgers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a shared service environment.
• Proven track record to maintain financial statement integrity.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, and QuickBooks (preferred).
