About the position

The Incident Response Sales Operations Lead at Palo Alto Networks will play a crucial role in supporting the Unit 42 Incident Response team by enhancing processes, programs, and tools to improve effectiveness during the pre-sales cycle. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including sales leaders, consultants, clients, and legal counsel, to streamline contracting, quoting, order fulfillment, and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for pre-sales assistance with internal sales, clients, legal counsel, and insurance providers.
  • Communicate various contracting options based on specific use cases.
  • Assist in drafting contracts such as statements of work, engagement letters, and master services agreements.
  • Ensure accurate Incident Response quoting in Salesforce.
  • Report on contract and quoting status for Incident Response inbounds.
  • Facilitate seamless invoicing with clients and third parties.
  • Ensure contracts are fully executed and tracked appropriately.
  • Collaborate with Incident Response leadership and authorized subcontractors for outsourced contracts.
  • Work with Legal on contract negotiations and template updates.
  • Identify process improvements and make recommendations for increased scalability.
  • Independently lead workstreams, defining approaches and executing plans while driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Review and enhance Sales central operations processes and policies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales support or consulting operations experience in a high-tech company.
  • Experience in a client-facing role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good business judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously as a self-starter.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • High-level understanding of selling through a channel model.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Docusign, G-Suite, and other SaaS tools.
  • BA/BS in business, economics, or equivalent experience.
