Shaw Industries is looking for an automation engineer to compile, create, analyze, and distribute Plant 67 attribute data into timely, accurate, and relevant information and reports for use internal and external to Plant 67. Responsibilities

Manage and support the IE clerk and POVA clerk.
Oversee and support process improvement and cost reduction efforts in the areas of safety, waste, quality, output, and cost.
Assist managers with cost and POVA questions.
Assist in preparing the annual budget.
Assist in preparing the business plan.
Assist in preparing the overall operating strategy.
Assist in preparing required projections and reporting those projections and explanations to management.
Reconcile MONV2 projections to actual and report to management.
Ensure completion of weekly POVA with weekly calculations of volume, performance, and spending variances.
Review weekly off quality charges.
Calculate and complete month end journal entries for waste and quality chargebacks.
Ensure accurate calculation of month end WIP.
Ensure accurate calculation of packaging inventory for month end POVA.
Ensure completion of monthly POVA.
Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of all cost sheets.
Create and enter expense and capital budgets.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
Ensure proper operation and serve as the subject matter expert of MRM system.
Maintain the asset list.
