About the position

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and possess a strong attention to detail. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint using various methods, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of industrial products. The Industrial Painter will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
• Operate airless paint spraying equipment to apply coatings efficiently and uniformly.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of paint thickness.
• Fabricate parts as necessary and perform welding tasks to prepare items for painting.
• Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintain and operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the industrial environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in industrial painting techniques and methods.
• Experience with airless paint spraying equipment is essential.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively in a safe manner.
• Experience in auto body repair is a plus but not required.
• Capability to operate cranes or other lifting equipment may be beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
