Industrial Process Engineer

About the position

Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring an Industrial Process Engineer for a growing manufacturing company in Everett, WA. As an Industrial Process Engineer, you will analyze operations, design workflows and production processes, reduce inefficiency, and ensure that final products meet the established quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
• Design production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and implement process improvements and technological upgrades.
• Design control systems to minimize costs and production issues.
• Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
• Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
• Improve the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement projects following LEAN process improvement philosophy.
• Train staff on new processes and providing instructions and manuals.
• Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar
• 5+ years' experience improving manufacturing processes
• Proven ability to effect positive change
• ERP experience
