About the position

The Industrial Project Manager at POWER Engineers, Inc. is responsible for leading and managing capital project engineering design for heavy industry process systems. This role involves overseeing all phases of projects, from initial planning to installation and commissioning, while ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to coordinate with internal and external teams, manage client relationships, and adapt facilities to meet market changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital project engineering design for heavy industry process systems.
• Oversee all phases of projects from initial planning to installation and commissioning.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal design teams, external resources, and client engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including the growth of new clients and projects.
• Mentor and coach internal design teams as required by project needs.
• Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations while staying within budget.
• Utilize project controls and scheduling tools effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in Engineering and Project Management.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Experience with project management tools, particularly Procore.
• Familiarity with Front End Planning (CII) project life cycle models.
