About the position

Small Size Big Mind Preschool is expanding with three wonderful campuses in the beautiful, relaxing seaside setting of Alameda. We offer passionate teachers the perfect place to grow, learn, and earn a great salary. You will be working in a beautiful school designed to provide a unique and one-of-a-kind early learning experience of exploration and joy for young learners. We value the joy and excitement teachers bring to the early learning experience of children and we provide teachers the time to teach without the distractions of administrative work, long meetings, or redundant training so you can focus on the fulfilling job of teaching young children. We are currently looking for loyal, committed, warm, collaborative, and excited, fully qualified lead preschool teachers to join our team. Teachers with proven successful work experience, and documented qualifications including all 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) core classes completed are a must. A bachelor's and/or associate in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Experience with teaching STEM and STEAM in a hands-on creative, and fun way is a big plus. The teacher we are searching for can educate young learners in a supportive, compassionate, and joyful way, work cooperatively on a team to create a safe, warm, and stimulating environment, and be open and receptive to the guidance and direction of a lead teacher and school director. This is a full-time position for the right experienced, fully qualified, and passionate teacher. Our lead teacher will have the skills and experience to lead the curriculum, co-teachers, and students in a positive, caring, and educational way. You will have the support of an onsite director and school owner, and work in collaboration as a team member with other dedicated and loyal staff. It is an exciting opportunity to help enhance our model for future centers which will be opened in the area and contribute to a lasting legacy to the community that makes our school so special.
