About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer to join our Application Development Integration Tools team. This senior developer role will act as an ETL development subject matter expert utilizing Informatica Power Center & IDEM, focusing on integrating on-premise and cloud-based systems that are core to operations. The position involves designing solutions, translating business requirements, developing, documenting, testing, and troubleshooting the data environment using ETL tool sets.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop, document, and test ETL processes using Informatica Power Center & IDEM.
• Troubleshoot and analyze system components to identify and resolve errors.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Maintain operational and system-level documentation.
• Ensure compliance with secure coding training and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a medium or large operating environment supporting Informatica.
• Minimum 4 years of SQL experience, including developing, modifying, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Deep understanding of relational/dimensional data modeling and data mapping design.
• Experience in designing and implementing ETL solutions with optimized performance.

Nice-to-haves

• Development background with Java, J2EE, and database management (DB2, SQL, PL/SQL).
• Experience with Azure Data Factory.
• Previous experience in the banking and insurance industry.
