The Information Systems Security Specialist at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) will support the 53d Test and Evaluation Group's Experimental Operations Unit at Creech AFB, NV. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and integrity of information systems related to the Air Force's Collaborative Combat Aircraft unit, requiring expertise in cybersecurity and collaboration with various teams.

  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of EOU information systems.
  • Support the development of unit cyber security doctrine, personnel construct, facilities, and policy concepts related to CCA.
  • Provide Secret Collateral Security, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) Security subject matter expertise.
  • Assist in the coordination, execution, and management of the Experimental Operations Unit (EOU) security program.
  • Support security-related matters for training and test events.
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance of systems, including auditing and patch management.
  • Conduct technical security assessments of complex systems.
  • Identify points of vulnerability and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in cybersecurity and information assurance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail in security assessments and documentation.
  • Experience with military security protocols and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the Air Force's Collaborative Combat Aircraft systems.
  • Starting PTO accrual of 20 days PTO/year + 10 holidays/year
