About The Position

The Information Technology Generalist 2 position at the Employment Banking and Revenue (EBR) IT Delivery Center involves advanced IT work, focusing on application lifecycle management and collaboration with various IT project teams. Requirements

• One year as an Information Technology Generalist 1, Applications Developer 1, or Network Specialist 1; or
• Four years of IT experience including one year of technical experience in applications development or maintenance, network operation or maintenance, or web site development or design; or
• Two years of IT experience including one year of technical experience and an associate's degree in any IT field; or
• A bachelor's degree in any IT field; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar ALM tools.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an administrator for the department's standard Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool, Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Assist the lead administrator with release management functionality and problem resolution tracking.
• Collaborate with IT application project teams and business partners to develop guidelines, policies, and standards.
• Participate in the planning, building, and deployment of internal and public-facing enhancements.
• Provide quality customer service and solve routine problems raised by the user community.
