About The Position

The Information Technology (IT) Integration Officer serves as a key liaison between end users and IT teams within the Pennsylvania Insurance Department. This role involves overseeing complex IT projects, coordinating operations and strategy, and ensuring successful implementation of projects while adhering to budgetary constraints. The officer will also drive IT strategy and business process improvements, focusing on enhancing customer experience and agency technology resources.

Requirements

• One year as an Administrative Officer 2; or
• Four years of experience in office management, including personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in public administration or strategic leadership.
• Knowledge of Lean principles for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex IT projects applying business and project management best practices.
• Coordinate projects, operations, and strategy among department staff, IT staff, and vendors.
• Monitor project progress and adjust scope as necessary to meet program needs and timelines.
• Provide project status updates to executive staff and project stakeholders.
• Drive IT strategy and business process reengineering initiatives.
• Design and lead improvements in agency technology resources.
