About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our team and lead the development and configuration of our ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) platform. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and communicating the product vision and strategy for ServiceNow ITOM, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. You will work closely with stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external partners, to gather requirements and ensure that the product vision is met. As a Product Owner, you will create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product roadmap and stakeholder requirements. You will lead the development team in the design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow ITOM modules, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Your role will also involve facilitating sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure efficient and effective development cycles. You will write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are well understood by the development team, and collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of new features and configurations. Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for ServiceNow ITOM, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
• Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product roadmap and stakeholder requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external partners, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with the product vision.
• Lead the development team in the design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow ITOM modules, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure efficient and effective development cycles.
• Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are well understood by the development team.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of new features and configurations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
• A strong understanding of Information Technology systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM module.
