About the position

As a Product Owner for our ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) platform, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and configuration of this platform. Your primary responsibility will be to define and communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external partners, to gather requirements and ensure that the product roadmap reflects these needs. In this role, you will manage the product backlog, creating, prioritizing, and maintaining it to ensure it aligns with stakeholder requirements. You will lead the development team in the design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow ITOM modules, ensuring that all deliverables meet high-quality standards. Facilitating sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives will be part of your responsibilities to ensure efficient development cycles. You will also be responsible for writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, collaborating with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of new features and configurations. Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for ServiceNow ITOM, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product roadmap and stakeholder requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including IT, business units, and external partners, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with the product vision.
  • Lead the development team in the design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow ITOM modules, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Facilitate sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure efficient and effective development cycles.
  • Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are well understood by the development team.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of new features and configurations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
  • A strong understanding of Information Technology systems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM module.
