About The Position

The INFOSEC Analyst, Journeyman position at JHNA Technology Security involves supporting security facilities at NAS Patuxent River, particularly in managing secure teleconferencing for senior executive meetings. The role focuses on implementing security processes to protect classified information in compliance with various government regulations and directives, while also interfacing with management and government customers.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in DoD/DoN Security and a High School Diploma, or an associate degree plus 2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Good interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Complete understanding of OPSEC, PERSEC, INFOSEC, and PHYSEC.
• Strong writing ability and proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and familiarity with SharePoint functions.
• Organized, self-starter with demonstrated internal motivation and ownership, capable of working independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Ability to receive a SECRET clearance, with an interim required to start.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Office with access control to a security facility.
• Maintain compliance with US Government security regulations and directives.
• Review visit requests.
• Support scheduling and setup of Secure Video Teleconferences.
• Ensure compliance of classified materials with regulations regarding marking, handling, controlling, transporting, sanitizing, reusing, and destroying classified information.
• Resolve other related program Security issues.
• Perform other Security tasking as assigned.
