About the position

The Infrastructure Engineer/Atlassian Cloud DevOps Engineer role is a full-time remote position focused on enhancing the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem to optimize project management for R&D teams. Responsibilities

  • Enhance project management for R&D teams within the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem.
  • Drive efficiency across cloud infrastructure.
  • Perform JIRA administration and support.
  • Integrate CI/CD pipelines with JIRA and version control systems.
  • Collaborate with R&D and DevOps teams on strategy planning.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience with the Atlassian Cloud Suite, including migration, administration, configuration, and support in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Proficiency in JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, Confluence, and relevant add-ons, plug-ins, and extensions.
  • Experience with REST APIs and integrations with Atlassian products.
  • Scripting skills with Python and Groovy; advanced JQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and experience with integrating JIRA with version control systems.
  • Familiarity with ITSM processes for incident, request, problem, and change management.
  • Experience working with AWS services and Kubernetes.
  • Background in networking concepts, including firewalls, VPN, routing, load balancers, security, and DNS.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and related practices.
  • Jira Administration Certification (Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator).
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps and plugins.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
