About the position

The Inside Liner Operator at Trivium Packaging is responsible for setting up and operating equipment to meet customer job specifications. This role involves continuous monitoring of production lines and inside lining coatings to ensure high-quality output. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential for collaborating with fellow operators and addressing any production issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and can drawings to determine job specifications and tooling.
• Set up and operate all inside liner equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on inside liner related equipment.
• Observe machine operations to detect machine faults and make necessary adjustments for the line.
• Communicate with fellow operators to update on production.
• Perform routine quality checks and record findings to ensure cans meet job specifications.
• Obtain coating weights and record information for EPA data analysis.
• Proficiently perform changeovers and production of aluminum containers to customer specifications.
• Have the authority to stop and/or modify work processes due to non-conformance and/or unsafe working conditions.
• Report all potential food safety concerns to the quality assurance manager.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Measuring skills using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Quality control skills.
• Team player with a 'can do' attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods on concrete floor.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
