About the position

The Inside Sales Account Manager at Sefar Inc. is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers to support business growth. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customer matters and collaborates with the Outside Sales Group to facilitate internal actions necessary for success. The position requires a consultative sales approach and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to support business growth.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer matters.
  • Develop and enact a Top Line Growth Strategy to meet monthly and annual targets in collaboration with Territory Management and Market Manager Groups.
  • Enhance Sefar's share with current accounts by analyzing customer buying history and suggesting related and new items.
  • Research and identify potential accounts to develop sales opportunities and solicit new accounts.
  • Coordinate with the Order Management Team regarding order entry, maintenance, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures.
  • Accurately capture and complete information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Participate in educational opportunities to update job knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience in a consultative sales approach.
  • Experience with cold calling to develop new business.
  • Ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of CRM software solutions.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with shifting priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a technical sales capacity or engineering (preferred but not required).
  • Highly energetic and self-starter.
  • Decision-making and problem resolution skills.
