The Inside Sales Consultant (Telesales) IV is a remote role focused on providing consultative sales experiences to small businesses. The consultant will engage with customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions from a product mix that includes supplies, financial management, payroll, and payments solutions. This position requires strong sales acumen, effective communication skills, and the ability to adapt to various customer interactions while carrying a sales quota.

Responsibilities

• Engage with small businesses to discuss their aspirations and uncover their needs.
• Provide consultative sales experiences around products and services offered by the company.
• Tailor solutions to specific customer needs uncovered during sales conversations.
• Carry a sales quota and meet daily call targets.
• Demonstrate effective presentation skills and develop proficiency in selling techniques.
• Anticipate objections and prepare responses to counter them.
• Flexibly manage priorities and make smart decisions about time investment.

Requirements

• Experience in sales or professional influence, preferably in the payments or fintech space.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage customers in conversation.
• Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office Suite and Google Docs/Spreadsheets.
• Ability to work in a remote environment and adapt to in-office requirements as needed.
• Demonstrated empathy and assertiveness in communication.
