About the position

The Instructional Designer for Factory Training at Tesla is responsible for developing engaging learning experiences and training solutions to enhance production KPIs. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, analyzing complex problems, and implementing effective training solutions in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a high degree of creativity and self-motivation, as well as ownership of the entire ADDIE process for instructional design projects.

Responsibilities

• Own the ADDIE process for individual projects including ILT, eLearning, Blended, and Other Assets.
• Collaborate with a high-performance team and cross-function with others.
• Consult with SMEs and stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Develop training materials using Storyline, PowerPoint, and other media.
• Analyze needs, gaps, process improvements, and training updates based on KPI metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 2 years of instructional design work experience.
• Portfolio of work and/or an assigned writing sample with demo.
• High proficiency in MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and Articulate Storyline.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with video editing and graphic design.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
