About the position

New program coming to Winters JUSD. 5- 5 hour positions (anticipated hours 1pm-6pm) Positions will be at Waggoner Elementary and Rominger Intermediate Positions are eligible for CalPERS retirement, medical, dental, and vision insurance. Under the supervision of Site Administrator, ELP Coordinator, and the ELP Site Coordinator, the ELP Instructional Assistant will assist with classroom management and support high quality learning experiences during all expanded learning programs.

Requirements

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
• Basic skills assessment, must satisfy one of the following: Pass an assessment provided by WJUSD that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics
• Completion of at least 48 semester units of study at an institution of higher education (college level)
• Associate's (or higher) degree
