About the position

The A&F Co. Instruction Designer is a key member of the Learning & Development Team, responsible for onboarding, training, and developing store talent globally. This role supports over 30,000 associates by partnering with leaders and experts to deliver engaging learning curriculums and tools. The Learning Specialist excels in content delivery, both live and digital, and is adept at creating original content tailored to diverse learning preferences. They leverage data to inform their strategies and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all associates.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of live and digital learning tools for the global stores organization.
  • Facilitate live and recorded trainings and design engaging digital learning experiences.
  • Create original content from intake to delivery, partnering with subject matter experts.
  • Support insight collection through survey build and dissemination, creating executive summaries for leaders.
  • Align learning and development programming with overall HR initiatives to maximize impact.
  • Gather insights from store leaders and associates to inform learning opportunities.
  • Track timelines and deliverables for multiple projects related to the learning & development roadmap.
  • Ensure A&F Co. Culture & Values are embedded throughout learning programs.
  • Regularly review and update learning libraries, focusing on user experience.
  • Manage learning technologies and leverage data to drive results and share insights with HR and business partners.
  • Collaborate with the Global Inclusion & Diversity team to strengthen programming for inclusion and cultural competencies.
  • Maintain budget and relationships with vendors and consultants.
  • Develop and manage communication and participation in learning programs.
  • Research best practices in learning and development to evolve programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, Leadership Development, or related fields preferred.
  • Ability to design clear, informative, and visually appealing learning materials.
  • Familiarity with different learning technologies and content development tools.
  • Experience in facilitating engaging presentations and classes.
  • Confidence to interact with and influence all levels of leadership.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to thrive in team settings.
  • Successful track record in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Engaging personality with a positive response to change.
  • Curiosity about effective learning and growth methods.
  • High standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
  • Passion for retail and the Abercrombie & Fitch Co. brands.
