The Instructional Designer for Leadership Development at Raytheon Technologies will play a crucial role in creating and delivering high-quality learning experiences for over 185,000 global employees. This position focuses on leveraging innovative learning design trends and best practices to enhance leadership development and human skills training. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure effective learning solutions that align with the company's Learning and Development strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and generate engaging learning solutions using adult learning principles and rapid instructional design techniques.
• Create high-quality training materials, including leader guides and participant resources.
• Utilize eLearning software to design and develop scalable training solutions.
• Monitor talent metrics to provide insights on the efficacy of L&D programs and enhance them as needed.
• Redesign current instructor-led training programs into blended formats for wider deployment.
• Conduct Train-the-Trainers sessions and facilitate training as required.
• Collaborate with talent management and business unit teams to align learning solutions with organizational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience in Human Resources, Learning, Talent Development, or Organizational Effectiveness.
• Strong background in instructional design, content creation, and graphic design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience developing content focused on leadership and professional skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, or Project Management.
• Experience in a matrixed and global environment.
• Ability to generate professional presentations for diverse audiences, including senior leaders.
• Project or Program Management experience.
