INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

About the position

Responsible for creating learning activities and course content. Works with subject matter experts to identify training needs and utilizes multimedia tools to enhance the learning process.

Responsibilities

• Develops training materials, course content, and learning activities.
• Work with subject matter experts to identify and determine needs of the course and appropriate delivery method.
• Creates multimedia course content and instructional material (audio, video, games, role plays, etc.) using a variety of media, applications, and programs.
• Manages course development projects, including determining and communicating scope of project, requirements, goals, and timeline.
• Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
• Develop and test online and hybrid courses to ensure smooth content sequencing, flow of information, and relevancy.
• Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of trainings.
• Provide support and guidance to instructors and supervisors in the development and production of multiple online higher education courses, including course builds, interactives, activities, and assessment instrument.

Requirements

• Preferred: Associates Degree in Multimedia Design, Instructional Design, and/or Educational Technology

• Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
