Responsibilities

  • Apply principles of adult learning and instructional design processes (such as ADDIE) to create educational products.
  • Participate in needs analysis and interact with subject matter experts to inform the design and development of educational products.
  • Generate the layout of participant and facilitator guides, eLearning content, and blended learning solutions through storyboarding and authoring.
  • Design content and associated metrics that optimize learning.
  • Partner with other members of the department to develop training deliverables.
  • Collaborate with graphic design and video personnel to create high-quality media that supports the learner's success.
  • Test learning designs and iterate content to ensure it aligns with learner's needs.
  • Review and test new and revised curriculum offerings from other team members, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Cultivate and steward internal relationships capable of partnering with and/or supporting the Institute's outreach and education programming.
  • Partner with customers and subject matter experts to analyze and document educational outcomes and learning objectives.
  • Use a customer-service-focused approach for all interactions and tasks.
