The Instructional Systems Designer II is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for the creation and implementation of effective learning programs and materials aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and performance of individuals. This position requires close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to accurately identify training needs, develop instructional objectives, design curriculum, and select the most appropriate delivery methods. The designer will engage in a comprehensive analysis of training requirements and media needs, ensuring that all instructional materials are not only effective but also engaging and accessible. In this role, the designer will be tasked with developing a variety of training solutions, including instructor-led, computer-based, web-based, and mobile training. The designer will ensure the integrity of task analysis, training requirements, instructional materials, and evaluation plans. This includes the development of flow diagrams and storyboards, as well as the design of instructionally sound lessons across various media. The designer will also be responsible for solving complex problems through innovative approaches and will need to work effectively within an agile development environment, scaling design efforts to meet production timelines and budget constraints without compromising instructional integrity. Additionally, the Instructional Systems Designer II will be expected to take initiative in their own professional development by actively participating in available training opportunities. The role also emphasizes the importance of maintaining a safe and organized work environment, reporting any unsafe conditions, and adhering to company policies and guidelines.
