The Instructional Systems Designer - Senior is responsible for creating and implementing effective learning programs and materials to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of individuals within an organization. This role involves close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify training needs, develop instructional objectives, design curriculum, and select appropriate delivery methods. The designer will conduct thorough analyses of training and media requirements, ensuring that all instructional materials are engaging and effective across various delivery methods, including instructor-led, computer-based, web-based, and mobile training. In this position, the designer will develop training objectives and test methods, ensuring the integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans. The role also includes designing and developing computer-based training, web-based training, electronic performance support systems, and other technology-based learning solutions. The designer will create flow diagrams and storyboards, and design instructionally sound lessons in various media formats. The Instructional Systems Designer - Senior must demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems through ingenuity and innovation, work within an agile development environment, and scale design efforts to meet production timelines and budget constraints without compromising instructional integrity. Additionally, the designer is responsible for their own self-development and must maintain a neat and orderly work area to ensure safety. Compliance with applicable rules and regulations is also a critical aspect of this role, fostering a culture of adherence to policies and encouraging reporting of any violations.
