About the position

At Frontier Airlines, we are committed to offering 'Low Fares Done Right' to more than 100 destinations and growing in the United States, Canada, Dominican Republic, and Mexico on more than 350 daily flights. We are looking for a Flight Attendant Trainer who will conduct FAA and DOT regulated Initial, Recurrent, and Requalification training, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations related to flight attendant training. This role involves overseeing flight attendant trainees, writing and designing training materials, and supporting line trainers as needed. The trainer will also be responsible for maintaining records of all training activities and providing constructive feedback to management and the training team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct FAA and DOT regulated Initial, Recurrent and Requalification training.
  • Oversee flight attendant trainees during initial training including performance assessment, performance management, counseling, coaching, and administration of progressive counseling.
  • Write, design, produce and disseminate annual recurrent computer-based training.
  • Support line trainers as needed.
  • Perform needs analysis, design, development and production of training curriculum and materials to meet FAA requirements and corporate objectives.
  • Maintain qualification as Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant.
  • Oversee Inflight contract trainers and facilitators during training periods.
  • Assist with writing and revising the Flight Attendant Manual.
  • Support special projects and committees.
  • Provide constructive feedback to management and flight attendant training team on personnel-related activities of training participants.
  • Maintain record of all training activities, participants and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior experience in leadership role required
  • One year experience as a line flight attendant required
  • Professional experience in teaching, training or adult education preferred
  • One year experience in FAR 121 program required

Nice-to-haves

  • Current knowledge of the Airbus aircraft
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects and priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate superior instructional, facilitation and presentation skills to large groups
  • Proven ability in the evaluation, creation, design and implementation of curriculum and supporting materials
  • Knowledge of conducting training needs assessment for different client groups
  • Ability to demonstrate strong oral presentation and written communication skills
  • Computer competency in work processing, Excel database software, graphics, desktop publishing and Powerpoint
  • Project management abilities including production and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to all sensitive information
  • Ability to work closely with the instructor group utilizing collaboration
