About the position

The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer at NNE is responsible for providing top-tier consultancy in projects related to the design, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems within the pharmaceutical engineering sector. This role involves working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure safety, compliance, and optimization of processes, while also focusing on building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop specifications for instruments, sensors, controllers, and necessary equipment for automation/controls.
  • Integrate instruments/controls into existing processes or new projects.
  • Support installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Ensure safety and compliance by designing with safe intent following standards/regulations.
  • Develop and review technical documentation, including design specifications, control logic, and system diagrams.
  • Verify control/RTU cabinets including controllers, I/O cards, CHARMS, power supplies, and wiring.
  • Work on process optimization to improve existing processes.
  • Work within ISO landscape (i.e. 9001, 14001, 61511 etc.)

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Technical Discipline
  • 3 years of experience in I & C (Life Science or Chemical Manufacturing experience considered a bonus)
  • Proven experience as an I&C Engineer with increased levels of responsibility
  • Prior experience with SCADA, Process Instrumentation/Control Systems, HMIs, PLCs, control valves, and instrumentation (i.e. LIT, FIT, TIT, etc.)
