About the position

Acrisure is seeking an Account Manager for the Commercial Lines, Construction department in Naples, FL. The Account Manager will support sales in an administrative capacity, applying insurance principles to everyday situations. This role involves managing client accounts, advising clients on coverage options, and ensuring timely responses to client service requests. The Account Manager will also be responsible for reviewing aged receivables, initiating renewal reviews, and maintaining client accounts on the agency automation system. The position requires a 220 insurance license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines, specifically with clientele in the Construction Industry in Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist clients by explaining coverage options/exclusions, making coverage recommendations, requesting policy changes, handling premium collections, and answering questions and concerns of the client.
  • Provide in-house customer service to clients as assigned and requested.
  • Review aged receivables and send out direct notice of cancellation per agency procedures.
  • Review with Client Advisor and invoice all audits.
  • Provide service and support to Client Advisors on existing accounts.
  • Initiate renewal reviews and re-market as appropriate.
  • Process surplus lines agency bill renewals and remarket to an admitted carrier whenever possible.
  • Review renewals to determine if non-standard policies can be rewritten in a standard market.
  • Remarket renewals to provide best options available to clients.
  • Review and underwrite renewals for the Cincinnati Insurance Company.
  • Receive and review cancellations and act to save accounts.
  • Maintain client accounts on agency automation system, document conversations, and adhere to automation procedures.
  • Participate in seminars and other training for knowledge and skill development.
  • Provide backup in other areas as assigned.
  • Help develop efficiencies in automation and paper flow.
  • Keep Client Advisors informed of important activities on all accounts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • 220 insurance license.
  • Minimum 5 years of Commercial Lines experience, specifically with clientele in the Construction Industry in Florida.
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to learn agency automation system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (2007 or above), including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Effective communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
