About the position

The Insurance Agent role focuses on selling nonstandard auto insurance to both new and existing customers. This position emphasizes building and maintaining customer relationships to achieve sales goals, while providing comprehensive training and support to ensure success in the role.

Responsibilities

• Sell nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers.
• Solicit new business and maintain current business levels to meet sales production goals.
• Build relationships with existing customers to expand business and meet production goals.
• Accurately account for all currency transactions and ensure timely deposits to the bank.
• Educate and advise customers on insurance products that best fit their needs.

Requirements

• Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license preferred (but not required).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Sales or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
• Excellent follow-up and multi-tasking skills.
• Ambitious professional motivated by opportunity for advancement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
