About the position

We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in our Brentwood, Tennessee Territory. This role is pivotal in connecting customers with the best insurance solutions to meet their needs from top national and regional carriers. Success in this position will require a strong local network and in-person relationship building within the community. As a Comparion Insurance sales agent, you will have the flexibility to develop a lucrative career by providing customers with Auto, Home, and Life insurance products. This position offers uncapped pay, including base salary, bonuses, prizes, and recognition that includes worldwide travel. You will also receive paid training (including licensing) and mentorships for those who want to pursue their career goals. Sales support is provided, allowing you to earn commissions for leads even if other team members close the deals. Comprehensive benefits are available from Day 1, including health and dental insurance, 401K, company-paid pension, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements to help you maintain a balance in your personal and professional life. The total average first-year earnings range from $65K to $85K through a combination of base, bonus, and uncapped commission, with the potential for top performers to earn over $150K. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within local communities and organizations.
  • Prospect for new customers and generate leads through various methods.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills to engage potential clients.
  • Tailor insurance products and services to meet the needs of existing customers.
  • Manage time effectively to balance sales activities and customer follow-ups.
  • Participate in training and mentorship programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous employment in a sales representative role with a proven track record of turning prospects into customers.
  • A state insurance license or willingness to earn one with training and support in Property & Casualty, and Life insurance.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Well-developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the insurance industry or related sales experience.
  • Familiarity with finding, building, and growing leads and customer base.
