About the position
The Claims Service Specialist role at GEICO's Virginia Beach office is designed for individuals who are motivated and empathetic, focusing on providing exceptional customer service during the claims process. This hybrid position involves extensive training in-office for the first 6-9 months, followed by a flexible work arrangement of four days in the office and one day working from home. The specialist will be responsible for collecting facts about accidents, investigating claims, and supporting policyholders through their claims journey.
Responsibilities
- Collect facts about accidents and investigate claim details.
- Gather statements from involved parties.
- Provide outstanding customer service to policyholders.
- Assist policyholders during their claims process, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
Requirements
- Experience in providing outstanding customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
