About the position

The Insurance Service Representative at AAA The Auto Club Group plays a crucial role in providing high-level support to the Insurance Agency and its members by servicing existing insurance accounts. This position involves handling customer inquiries, processing applications, and promoting various insurance and financial products, all while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform retention calls and process applications, renewals, and amendments.
• Resolve customer problems and sell membership and financial products.
• Provide price quotes on all insurance products and factor in applicable rules and discounts.
• Take insurance payments and respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance availability and coverage.
• Recognize and promote cross-sale opportunities and provide efficient processing of customer policies.
• Conduct outbound promotional and retention call activities as per management request.
• Participate in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service.
• Receive and resolve member/customer complaints and seek management assistance when necessary.
• Participate in office events to generate insurance revenue and improve member awareness of products.
• Fulfill, maintain, and service insurance policies and update electronic member information.

Requirements

• A Current Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
• Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
• Successful completion of Customer Service, Insurance, and Membership training within 6 months of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in providing high-level customer-focused service and processing insurance applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in promoting the sales of insurance products and services using established guidelines.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
