Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the design work scope for liquid-filled and dry-type distribution transformers, including special application transformers.
  • Develop optimized design solutions and provide technical support for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support project execution as needed.
  • Communicate with Sales and Marketing teams to support pursuing opportunities and contracts.
  • Communicate with suppliers as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in designing Liquid Filled and Dry Type Distribution Transformers, including special applications transformers.
  • Good knowledge in both electrical and mechanical engineering principles for distribution transformers.
  • Good knowledge of national and international standards, including UL, IEEE, ANSI, DOE.
  • Good knowledge and experience in design optimization principles for distribution transformers.
  • Good knowledge and experience in designing standard as well as special application distribution transformers.
  • Strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not required).
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and transformer applications.
  • Innovative and detail-oriented mindset.
