About the position

The position involves full system integration to meet specifications, ensuring on-time delivery and quality results until the end of installation. The role encompasses managing both technical and operational aspects of the tool's integration process. Responsibilities include testing and troubleshooting modules, performing in-house customer acceptance tests, and traveling to customer sites for installation and support. The position requires establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers, following documentation procedures for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and pursuing procedural, safety, and process improvements. The role also involves evaluating system quality, performance, and configuration issues, providing on-site production technical support, and performing complex operational and functional tests, calibrations, and troubleshooting of systems. Additionally, the position may involve leading the first alpha and beta systems and providing design authority feedback.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full system integration to meet specifications, on-time delivery, and quality results.
• Manage both technical and operational aspects of the tool's integration process.
• Test and troubleshoot modules and fully integrate systems.
• Perform in-house customer acceptance tests.
• Travel to customer sites to install and support tools.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
• Follow and complete documentation procedures for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Pursue and develop procedural, safety, and process improvements.
• Identify and resolve problems individually or as a team.
• Evaluate system quality, performance, and configuration issues.
• Provide on-site production technical support, equipment operation, repair, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Perform highly complex operational and functional tests, calibrations, verification, and troubleshooting of sub-assemblies and/or systems.
• Work with cross-functional groups to develop, design, and build new production assemblies and NPI systems.
• Lead the first alpha and beta systems and provide design authority feedback.
• Investigate, compile data, document, and recommend changes to enhance product performance.
• Perform necessary rework and assist in determining remedies for malfunctions.
• Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation.
• Assist in revising, developing, and implementing department procedures.
• Write complex technical reports and test procedures.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, beam, optics, and process testing on systems.
• Function as a technical resource for lower-level technicians.
• Train new employees and conduct ongoing training sessions.
• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree.
• 4 - 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced specialized expertise within an analytical/scientific area.
• Good understanding of how related teams coordinate efforts and resources.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on previous experience to identify and solve problems.
